Hypnotherapy [Back to Top]
The word ‘hypnotherapy’ originates from the Greek word hypnos, which means sleep. It’s a form of psychotherapy, which makes use
of hypnosis and counselling. Hypnosis is a way of inducing a very deep state of relaxation, which bypasses the conscious mind allowing
for direct communication with the unconscious mind to bring about therapeutic benefits. The work of hypnotherapy is about turning our
attention inward with the help of a skilled guide.
When hypnotherapy is mentioned many people only think of Smoking Cessation or Weight Control. However, it has a great deal more to offer.
A combination of Hypnotherapy, NLP and healing can help with stress, confidence, phobias and also help clients suffering from
IBS and pain to mention a few. Emotional hurts from the past, that are still in some way running into the present, can also be helped.
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
You are not asleep. You are, in
fact, quite aware of what is happening. You are also fully
in control, if you don’t feel comfortable you can get up
and leave at any time. As long as what is happening feels
safe and comfortable, you will feel pleasantly relaxed and
Hypnosis can bring release from past emotional hurts and assist with the healing of physical conditions.
By integrating the mind-body link I am able to help you heal yourself by accelerating the healing process.
Deep trance may be only one of the methods used. There are many avenues of approach to the subconscious mind,
in order to overcome problems or achieve personal growth. Beneficial change does not depend on the achievement of a required depth of trance.
You will not do anything you don’t want to. If any suggestion is given that makes you feel uneasy you will either ignore it or snap out of the trance.
The power of hypnosis lies entirely with you.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) / Personal Development [Back to Top]
In life we all face challenges which seem difficult to deal with. Such challenges can range from personal/social relationships to business/sports performance.
If we could put them into true perspective they would not cause us concern.
I will help you look at a situation from different perspectives, altering your approach to it accordingly, which can radically enhance
relationships and performance.
Also quantum biologists have recently verified the mind/body link something may be, we
all know intuitively.
Therefore, every single cell in our body is affected by the thoughts we have.
Until a few years ago, this concept of a mind/body link was laughed out of medical conferences.
The idea that our emotions could make us sick or aid in the healing process seemed ludicrous.
However, gradually evidence has started to build up. Phil Evans, Professor of Psychology at the University of Westminster said ‘there
are definitely links between our emotions and the function of different parts of the body. It’s therefore plausible that there are also widespread
links to the dysfunction of the body’.
Emotions don’t just happen in your head, they set off a chain of reactions throughout your entire body.
Negative thinking produces a climate in which health problems can develop, by releasing a stress chemical in the blood,
which inhibits the work of the immune system. A positive feeling, leading you to be optimistic, provides a climate in which
good health can be attained and maintained. Positive thinking is being in harmony with yourself, people and things around you.
Using different techniques I can help you shake off limiting beliefs about yourself, clear phobias, change negative thinking
into positive thinking and get to the root cause of dis-ease, making profound changes at the unconscious level.
Reiki Healing [Back to Top]
Reiki is an ancient system of hands-on healing. It’s a method of re-balancing the natural flow of energy in the
body so as to allow it to heal itself. Rei stands for the universal energy; Ki the life force within us. This energy flows through the body and
when it is disrupted it weakens the functions of the body. Reiki works at a very deep level, releasing blocked energy, producing a state of
deep relaxation as well as reducing the harmful effects of stress. As well as a powerful healing tool, it can also provide the key to achieving
your full potential as Reiki works on all levels, physical, mental and emotional. Reiki can do no harm and any condition can be treated.
The Five Reiki Principles
Just for today do not worry
Just for today do not anger
Honour your parents, teachers and elders
Earn your living honestly
Show gratitude to every living thing
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Reiki therapist channels this life energy through their hands to the client for the purposes of healing body, mind and emotions.
It accelerates the body’s own ability to heal physical ailments, opens the mind and spirit to the causes of disease and pain, reinforcing
the client’s ability to take responsibility for their life.
The experience of Reiki can vary greatly, but generally warmth, tingling and relaxation are the most common effects.
At the points where energy is needed most, the intensity of the heat emanating from the hands may increase significantly.
You may also ‘see’ colours or images - or sense new insights. The flow of energy may help to release tensions in your own life.
During a session you may experience an emotional release or gain a new sense of clarity about a particular problem.
WHAT CAN REIKI TREAT?
Reiki is helpful in most conditions including chronic ailments and it beneficial in relieving pain and stress.
